ATHRA GENERAL MEMBERS MEETING / INFORMATION SESSION – Tuesday 17th November 2020
Following the success of a video conference for the last General members Meeting (32 attendees from across Australia), the ATHRA Board is pleased to annouce that we will be having 3-4 general member meetings / information sessions each year so that we can further improove our communication with members.
These will enable ATHRA members to register and log onto these meetings (usually a Zoom meeting) so that they can listen to the latest updates of what ATHRA is up to and then be able to ask our dedicated team of experts any questions.
The main focus of this meeting will be insurance and the proposed new direction via a Group Master Policy. This scheme will help significantly reduce our premiums (provided enough members join the scheme) plus help protect members from rises in the near future as well as helping future proof cover.
There will also be some updates regarding training and assessments, high risk licenses (find out how ATHRA ahs been able to get exemptions for steam locomotive boilers) and our continued work with Safety and Regulations. There will be opportunities to members to ask questions.
As our meetings grow in numbers, there is a need to ensure each person registers for the event by 11th November. During the meeting members will be placed on mute. Any questions can be raised by raising your hand (button at bottom) or asking a question to the moderator. Members will then be given an opportunity to raise the question to the presenter or the Group.
The next meeting will be held at 8pm on Tuesday the 17th November 2020 (AEDT) and RSVP by 11th November 2020.
Please RSVP for this meeting by emailing Paul Rollason at email@example.com or via the registration via the Zoom link, no later than 11th November 2020.
